 At TruVision Academy, our mission is to empower families, schools, and businesses to foster safe, nurturing environments through our comprehensive Supervised Visitation Services, School Therapeutic Support Services, and specialized Business Consulting. We are committed to providing compassionate care, tailored solutions, and professional guidance to support healthy relationships, academic success, and sustainable business growth. With integrity, expertise, and dedication, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of youth and communities we serve. 

Marquitta, the Owner and Founder of TruVision Academy has over 25 years of experience in the field of human services which includes extensive work experience in residential program administration, school administration, mental health, addictions, and trauma resolution counseling. Marquitta’s clinical experience is varied and includes working as a Lead Clinician in the State of Pennsylvania providing individual and group therapy to school aged children in an educational setting, as well as worked as an Outpatient Therapist in a mental health Outpatient Center and Drug Treatment Center, counseling children and adults. 

She is a Licensed Child Care Administrator (LCCA) in the State of Texas, studied for her Bachelor Degree in Business Management at the University of Phoenix and earned her Master’s in Human Services with a concentration in Counseling, from Lincoln University.  She is continuously seeking to gain more skills and broaden her education. She has earned 18 credits towards her Doctoral Degree in Education, with a concentration in Organizational Leadership, with an emphasis on Behavior Health at Grand Canyon University and is currently in the process of becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. 

She has received specialized training in the areas of trauma informed care, mental health disorders, addiction and co-occurring disorders, and has had the opportunity to train other professionals and families on understanding trauma and the importance of relationship building.

In 2017, Marquitta started TruVision Academy with hopes to combat some of the issues that come from children who has experienced trauma, and as a result have a difficult time exhibiting pro-social behavior, performing well academically, building healthy relationships, and lack self-efficacy. She also seeks to engage families and include them in the treatment process, and to educate other change agents on their responsibility to the children they serve. Marquitta is committed to building a web of treatment services that supports the mental health and wellbeing of the children and families in need.
